The
civilization of ancient Egypt arose in the valley and delta of the
river Nile, in north eastern Africa. In the begining, before 4000
BC two seperate civilizations developed, one in the valley known as
upper Egypt, and other in the delta, know as lower Egypt. (5000 to
2575 BC).
The group was composed of 34 students and five teachers of Galaxy
Education System, Rajkot (India). Excursion leader was Ashvin Desai.
It was a journey into the past, to the land of Pharaohs. It was a
very enriching experience for the students as well as for the teachers.
